 | Reyes Sidelined for 6 Weeks
Saturday, June 18th, 2011: The Arizona Sandmen will lose the services of second baseman Jose Reyes after he sustained elbow inflammation while throwing the ball in today's game against the Sacramento Stingers. "I'll get through it," Reyes said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 6 weeks.
To date Reyes has chalked up a .316 average with 6 home runs, driven in 30 runs and scored 39 times.
