 | Wednesday, July 15th, 2009: Wright Torches Racers for 5 Hits New York third baseman David Wright had the hot hand today in the game against the Racers at Judges Ballpark. He scorched Louisville pitching for 5 hits and paced the Heroes to a 12-6 victory. D. Wright hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off E. Oropesa in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th and singled in the 7th. To date this season Wright is hitting .255 with 5 home runs. |
