 | Memphis, Sacramento Confirm Swap Sunday, July 3rd, 2011: The Memphis Strummers have finalized a deal with the Sacramento Stingers for the services of 27-year-old reliever Brandon Medders. In exchange, the Stingers will receive 27-year-old third baseman Garrett Atkins. Batting .250 to date, Atkins has no home runs and 0 RBIs. So far this season Medders is 1-and-3 with no saves and a 5.20 ERA. He has given up 50 hits in 45 innings with 41 strikeouts. |
