 | Lowrey's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Sunday, July 17th, 2011: Ringers third baseman Peanuts Lowrey was beaming today after his team had beaten Charlotte 5-4 at Cougar Field. He had contributed 1 hit to the victory and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Life is good when the hits keep coming like they have in the last few weeks. I hope I can keep it up a little while longer." P. Lowrey hit an RBI double in the 10th. Thus far this season Lowrey has hit .357 with 2 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 27 times. |
